Tim Allen Finally Broke His Silence After “Last Man Standing” Cancellation, He’s So Pissed
It is no secret that the mainstream media and the shows they put out almost universally lean left and present a liberal take on life in the United States. These networks fail to take into account that half of the country does not agree with the liberal point of view, as evidenced by the fact that Democrat Hillary Clinton lost the election in 2016.
Trump-supporting actor and comedian Tim Allen, famous for his leading role in Home Improvement, found another successful role in the hit ABC sitcom Last Man Standing, which was rare in how it presented a main character who is an unabashed and unapologetic conservative. Unfortunately, ABC ended up canceling Last Man Standing, despite the fact that it had high ratings. A deeply upset Allen finally broke his silence and spoke out against the cancellation.
Said Allen via his Twitter account about ABC’s decision to cancel Last Man Standing, “Stunned and blindsided by the network I called home for the last six years.” Allen’s tweets received more than 60,000 likes and was retweeted more than 24,000 times.
Deadline documented that Last Man Standing had the second highest ratings out of all of ABC’s sitcoms. It got 8.1 million viewers, which is just behind the 8.7 million viewers leader Modern Family received. Modern Family, which is known for its leftist perspective, just got renewed for another two years.
